Senthil Chengalvarayan
President & Editorial Director of TV18 Business Media

Senthil Chengalvarayan, 44 years, is the President & Editorial Director of TV18 Business Media. In his new role, Senthil heads a host of verticals which form part of the Business Media ecosystem (Business/Tech/Personal Finance magazines, financial portals, business wires, extensions of CNBC TV18 & CNBC AWAAZ, mobile etc).

Prior to this role, he led a team of professional journalists that has made CNBC TV18 the most successful business media network in the country. He has been a business journalist for over two decades. After spending his initial years in the profession with various Business Dailies he joined Television Eighteen in 1994 just as the company was pioneering the entry of private companies into Television News. He's seen the industry grow then from uncertain beginnings to the phenomenon that it is today.

A Graduate in Economics from Madras University, he has done his Masters in Journalism from the Times Research Foundation

Udayan Mukherjee
Managing Editor of CNBC TV18

Udayan Mukherjee, 35 years, is the Managing Editor of CNBC TV18. His first assignment was with United Television where he worked for four years before joining CNBC Asia as Special Markets Correspondent when they commenced operations in India. He subsequently moved to Network18 and apart from working on the daily business news bulletin, he anchors live market shows like Bazaar Morning Call and other daily and weekly shows like Corporate Radar and Taking Stock.

He is an economist, having obtained his B. Sc. in Economics from Presidency College, Calcutta and M.A. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Shereen Bhan:
Shereen Bhan is the Executive-Editor CNBC-TV18. She is a graduate from St Stephen's College New Delhi with a Masters in communication studies from the Department of communication, Pune University. She has been producing and anchoring flagships shows like India Business Hour and Business Center for 8 years. She anchors and produces Young Turks, one of the longest running shows on CNBC-TV18 and the winner of the Best Business Talk show award at the News Television awards for two years consecutively. She won the FICCI woman of the year award for her contribution to the media in 2005. She has interviewed some of the biggest names in business and politics.

Vivek Law:
Vivek Law is National Editor, CNBC-TV18. Prior to this he was Editor-Consumer Affairs, where he did shows across personal finance, real estate, economic crime, consumer grievances and small and medium enterprises. Vivek has also contributed to shows on the sister channel CNBC Awaaz. Some of the shows he has been associated with include Uncovered, High Rise, Business Centre, Pehredar, Pardafash and Networth. Vivek has 15 years experience in journalism and has worked with India Today, Economic Times, Business Standard and The Financial Express.

Anuradha SenGupta
Anuradha SenGupta is one of the most versatile anchors on Indian news television. From live news shows and topical discussions to large audience format discussions and classic interview shows that have a cult following, Anuradha has anchored the entire spectrum of shows that English news channels offer.

One of the pioneering anchors on CNBC TV18 and one of its best known faces, she will be recognized most easily by the first show she anchored � Storyboard, in 2001. Storyboard is CNBC TV18�s longest running feature show that reports on the world of brands and marketing. It has won awards and is appointment viewing for the industry it represents and sets and delivers the highest production standards. Beautiful People � an interview series with newsmakers and icons outside the sphere of business; Must Do � a program on literature, arts and culture take CNBC TV18 viewers into a world beyond business.

Anuradha has produced a host of shows including the Amul India Show on Star Plus. She has a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the Bombay University and Diploma in Social Communications Media from the Sophia Polytechnic.

Latha Venkatesh:
Latha began her career in CNBC-TV18 as chief of the Mumbai News Bureau and is now the Banking and Commodities Editor. Over the years, she has come to be recognized as one of the keenest watchers of the Reserve Bank of India and a respected commentator on banking sector issues, money markets and macroeconomic trends. She has been a business journalist for 17 years and has specialized in covering all markets - stocks, currency debt and commodities. She has also had stints in all major streams of media having worked in Economic Times and Dow Jones newswires for five years each. Latha graduated in Economics and Politics and has a doctoral degree in Political Science.

Menaka Doshi:
Menaka Doshi has been a broadcast journalist for almost 12 years, having begun her career with TV18 in 1996 as Features Reporter on India Business Report (BBC). Thereafter she moved to reporting business news for CNBC-TV18. She has played an integral role in news programming in the past 9 years and is now Corporate Editor. In the past she has covered many corporate beats including cement, oil & gas, petrochemicals, energy and telecommunications as well as many corporate houses such as Reliance, A V Birla Group etc. She has also anchored and produced Young Turks, a show that profiles young achievers and Realty Check, a show that captured all the real estate action in the country. She also co-anchored CNBC-TV18's primetime evening news show India Business Hour. Now she has diversified her interests to special programming, such as, The Firm and Riders in the Storm. Menaka was the first recipient of the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award 2005-06 in the category of Business & Economic Journalism (Broadcast).

Karan Thapar
Karan Thapar is the only Indian television professional who has worked for ten years in television outside India. Trained as a correspondent, producer, editor and presenter with London Weekend Television in the United Kingdom. Presently he is head of Infotainment Television (ITV), a television production house, making programmes for BBC, Channel NewsAsia, CNBC-TV18, CNN-IBN and Doordarshan. Since March 2004 Karan Thapar has presented the highly regarded current affairs programme Tonight at 10 (now re-christened India Tonight) on CNBC-TV18. In January 2006 Karan Thapar hosted Devil�s Advocate, a primetime Sunday night one-to-one current affairs interview on CNN-IBN. The series began with a double bill with the President of Pakistan, General Musharraf, which made front page headlines both in India and Pakistan. From 1986- 2007, Karan Thapar has won more than 13 awards which includes the Asian Television Award for Best Current Affairs Presenter for a fourth time for Devil's Advocate. In August 2008 he also hosts and moderates the political debate show War of Words on CNBC-TV18. He is a member of the National Integration Council.

Mitali Mukherjee
Mitali Mukherjee has been with CNBC-TV18 for 5 years. She leads the market coverage for the channel as News Editor, Markets. Mitali co anchors the prime time show Morning Call. She also anchors Business Lunch and India Market Wrap, a show that tracks the crucial closing hour of trade everyday. In the evening, she co anchors Markets Today a show that focuses on the stock market action of the day and analyses the outlook for markets and also anchors and produces CNBC-TV18's weekend show Classroom, aimed at increasing investor awareness about equity markets. Mitali holds a gold medal from Delhi University in Political Science. She is also a gold medalist from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, in Television Journalism.

Harsha Subramaniam:
Harsha Subramaniam is the News Editor and Anchor at CNBC-TV18. He edits and hosts various news programmes on the channel including its flagship show India Business Hour every weeknight. He leads a team of young professionals that is in charge of CNBC TV18�s primetime programming. He has been journalist for nearly a decade now with prior stints at The Hindu Business Line and Star News. Harsha holds an MBA degree and is a trained broadcast journalist from the Asian College of Journalism.
